    JGST is a bilingual (English and French) academic journal published quarterly in a year (January, April, July and October) by the African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (AFRIGIST), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.


    JGST aims to publish and disseminate well researched original articles, short communications, research notes, critical reviews, theoretical and empirical studies that make robust contributions to current debates in the field of Geospatial Science and Technology.


    As a multidisciplinary scientific journal, it welcomes articles from various disciplines that uses geospatial
    tools and software’s including application of Geospatial Science and Technology to address societal issues. These includes; Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Archeology, Environmental Sciences, Cartography, Geology, Agronomy, Botany, agriculture, Biogeography, Oceanography, Hydrology, Climatology, computer science, geospatial modelling, Air, Road and Sea Transportation system among others.


    A manuscript is considered on the strict condition that it has been submitted only to JGST meaning that it has not been published already, and is not under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs which JGST incurs and their papers will not be published.


    The journal invites article submissions between 4000 - 6000 words. The word count relates to the main text only. It does include the Abstract, References list, Figure captions, Tables, Textboxes, or Appendixes.


    JGST uses Open Journal Manuscripts System to peer review manuscript submissions,

    AJLAEM is a bilingual (English and French) academic journal published quarterly in a year (March, June, September and December) by the African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (AFRIGIST), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.


    AJLAEM aims at providing a medium to publish and disseminate well researched original articles, short communications, research notes, critical reviews, theoretical and empirical studies that make robust contributions to current debates in the field of Land Administration and Environmental Management.


    It receives articles from various disciplines which includes; Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Sciences, Housing, Estate Management, Architecture, Building Construction, Regional Studies, Transportation, Tourism, Infrastructural Development, Rural Studies, Land Policy, Land Governance, Land and gender, Security of tenure, Land tenure system, Displacement, Eviction, Land use change, Property Valuation and Taxation, Gender equity in access to land, Land investment, Land reform, Land rights, Urban and Rural communities development and related fields.
